Amazon.com: WebStore Brand Awareness and Lead Generation

Summary

Leading digital communications for the WebStore business, I led the rollout of several email campaigns that ranged from recipients on our existing mail lists, sellers using other Amazon services as well as lists acquired from our strategic business partners. In this section you will see three different campaigns:

  • Media Sellers Program: Partnering with other Amazon Services teams, I led the effort to build integrated promotional messaging with WebStore Merchants and Media Sellers.
  • Affiliate Welcome Email:  This email campaign was designed as part of the setup for WebStore’s Commission Junction Affiliate program to drive new traffic in support of Lead Generation initiatives. Content was written using tested and approved keywords as well as simple and powerful banner ads that had been tested successfully on Amazon.com.
  • Amazon.com / Visa Cobranded Email: The goal for this campaign was to deliver a co-branded email campaign promoting WebStore by Amazon to a targeted group 10,0000 Amazon.com Visa business card holders. The email campaign was designed to include key program offerings combined with the Amazon.com and Visa brand names. For this email I developed a new “wireframe” code base to assure consistent visualization across all email clients and ISP’s.

The goal of these campaign were to:

  • Drive brand awareness to this newly acquired and rebranded Amazon service
  • Increase registrations to the platform
  • Grow partnerships with both 3rd party partners as well as internal Amazon services to expand reach
