Aggressively evaluating our analytics, my team identified that our mobile responsive website was not converting at the percentage we desired it to. Due to technology limitations and through voice of the customer surveys telling us what our customers wanted to see, I developed a go to market strategy to deploy the first mobile ecommerce shopping app for the business.
Our business leaders were reluctant to invest too heavily in such an uncharted territory, therefore, through a business meeting held in New York a couple months earlier, I had reached out to the CEO of PredictSpring; a newly formed startup that was bringing mobile app development to a new level.
Leading from inception to completion, the strategy, development and deployment of these apps, I implemented the PredictSpring platform and launched the ecommerce app for both iTunes and Google Play storefronts which in turn led to record conversion rates, delivering nearly a 6x increase in both North America and the U.K. The Claire’s app reached the top 100 ecommerce shopping apps in the U.K., only thirty days after launch.
